To whom it concerns:
Marsh and Kircher Construction contracted Andrew Rech, of A & B Painting and Handyman Services, for the exterior staining and trim painting of a lake side home for a client of ours. It was a multi-level home which needed sanding on old worn paint, had a lot of angles and included a slippery metal roof to work from at times. He was courteous, his bid sheet was clear and understandable, he completed the job within the timeframe that we had needed and his completed work was judged by the client of our company to be very acceptable. He kept the work area clean and was friendly with the clients house guests.
When a small area that was missed was noted about two weeks later, he returned promptly and completed the work in a friendly manner. In addition, he did not add anything to his bid when he had overlooked a small area that would extend his estimated painting time.
He is a young man, with the desire to work, a trait not easily found these days. With time and practice, as with any service work, he will improve and acquire the knowledge that old ‘paint masters’ have acquired.
Marsh and Kircher can recommend him for painting contracts. He definitely deserves the opportunity to build his reputation as qualified craftsman. If the client is fair with him, we feel he will be fair in return.
